Q: When I use ipod video converter , I get  ''can't initialize avi file" error

Q: Can this program run on MAC?

Q: When I try to convert .avi files ... it converts fine for a few seconds and then it drops to 1 frame per second ... what can I do to fix this?

You need to reinstall your directx  lastest version. And go to http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Codec_Pack_All_in_1.htm to download the codec package all in 1 to install.

Q: I am trying to convert a DVD to IPOD format but I am getting the following error.
     "Audio Format not supported DTS"

Normally there are not just one audio track on dvd . DTS is one of them, the mean is Digital Theatre System. But on ipod, you need not it. So when converting, you can choose the other audio track, ie, AC3.

Q: How to  set the movie display to the same size as your iPod screen?

   You can set the "Crop Mode" equal to "Custom" . Then in the screen to the right, use your mouse and drag the top and bottom (green) guidelines to the edges of the viewable movie. Then click "Convert" to convert.
